Bright Street Gallery offers regular group exhibitions by contemporary South African artists on a range of exciting and stimulating themes. We also host community exhibitions in support of amateur artists. The majority of our exhibitions are by open selection which are advertised in our newsletter, on our facebook page and here on our website.
African Colours Exhibition on till 1 June 2018
African Colours Art Exhibition – is a group exhibition, of selected contemporary local, established and upcoming artists – Celebrating our colourful vibrant and very diverse nation with a sense of wonder and pride. We open this exciting event on the evening Friday the 13th of April at 6.30pm. All welcome to attend and enjoy a glass of wine and brilliant Art. This exhibition will be running until 01 June 2018 – pop in for a visit!
33 Bright Street is a creative hub for Somerset West. We have a thriving art community locally which we support by offering a focal point for ‘arty happenings’ including exhibitions, workshops and classes. Bright Street Gallery also maintains close links with our local art group, the Western Cape Artists’ Society.
The gallery is available for hire for meetings, workshops and group exhibitions.
