Die jaar word ryp in goue akkerblare,

dat die takke van die lang populiere al

O Heer, laat hierdie dae heilig word:
Laat alles val wat pronk en sieraad was
of enkel jeug, en ver was van die pyn;
laat ryp word, Heer, laat u wind waai, laat stort
my waan, tot al die hoogheid eindelik vas
en nakend uit my teerder jeug verskyn.

Being a mother of four children and 5 grandchildren, she is influenced, as an artist, by people and their personal growth in life. She was born on a farm and the characteristics of farming inspired her, it demands endurance, ploughing the earth, preparing it, hard work, patience, and expectation. She is also a passionate endurance runner and road leader at Run Walk for life.
She completed a 3-year course, with a diploma at Ruth Prowse School of Art, in Visual Arts. Specialize in Printmaking. The creative process inspired her due to the magic feeling and beauty when you reveal your print.
Living out her passion facilitating art classes at Imibala Trust and De Hoop Primary school Somerset West. She facilitated lino printmaking workshops at Rupert Museum and AVA gallery. She is a facilitator for ‘Creative Interaction’ and ‘Early Beginning’ for Butterfly Art Project
Founded SA Art, an entity working for the benefit of emerging visual artists. http://www.saart.co.za, which was a finalist (3rd) in the South African Nedbank Arts and Culture Trust Awards 2004.
Project Manager for the Project of Art in Business for the Department of Economic Development in Cape Town. Commissioned to paint for the Department Economic Development art collection in 2006 (Art in Business) and 2010 (soccer).
Selected for International Art exhibition at the 14th Tallinn Print Triennial. Political Estonia 2006
