“Art is a longing. You never arrive but you keep on going in the hope that you will” – A.Kiefer

The inspiration behind “HOMEWARD”:

“Homeward” During daylit hours there are strong bright colours . Orange is the last remaining colour of the day before night falls.. and it brings a fading landscape to life for a few minutes

I am best known for realistic watercolours. My art has been making a change in the last few years. Trying new techniques excites me and pushes me to new boundaries and ways to express myself. Painting intuitively brings out paintings I thought I would never do. It is about the process and enjoyment of creating art that I love. The flow of dripping wet paint and bold strokes….the changing of colours on paper using watercolours,  painting wet on wet.

She is an administrator of the International Watercolour Society of South

The inspiration behind “Garden Glory”

The inspiration for ‘Garden Glory’ emanates from a recent spring visit to Elgin
Open Gardens. I was in awe of the magnificent flowers and breath-taking
colours.
